The Work of Marco Harder
Princess of entropy
[Harder. 2012.]
Written, arranged and performed by Marco Harder.
“So long, and have a nice day.”
“We’ll talk, but we can’t share any space.”
The rolling waves
was the reason
that he claimed
he gave no warning.
“I’d see you around the scene these days.”
“Speak soon.”
was that you heard him say.
The smell of the sea
on your skin
fades quietly
as things get colder.
All this matter will cease to matter, dear.
Time will collapse, and space will disappear.
Everything will fall apart: this heat-death of the heart
and the sleepless nights ‘bout which you have complained.
This was the guarantee when things began.
“No hope will survive anyway.”
“Failure is my middle name.”
The equation
on your skin
says quietly:
“This will be over.”
